Not every job is a whole floor. A dishwasher leak took out four boards. A wall came down and left a gap in the hardwood. The stair treads are worn through while the rest of the house is fine. These are the calls we get most often, and they are worth making.
Board replacement is a craft: sourcing a match, weaving new boards into the existing pattern instead of dropping in an obvious patch, then sanding and blending the finish until the repair disappears. Where a seamless match genuinely is not possible, we say so before we start rather than after.
